Saltwater Haven: 3bd+Dog Friendly+Bckyrd

Delightful mother/daughter retreat!!! Positive: Felt completely safe in this neighborhood. Loved the floor plan and two rooms with King size bed. Very well appointed for cooking and decorated great! Walkable to the beach! We absolutely loved this property!

We had a good time while staying in this property. Two ideas for future guests.1) The arcade console is nice but you could provide the sign-in code somewhere in the house.2) The garbage disposal was not working when we arrived. I looked at it and got it operating by pushing the red reset button on the bottom of the unit. A nnote about this problem would have be helpful.

The location is amazing, very close walk or drive to beaches. The property is very nice, and well stocked, except a blender, but we brought one. A big issue is that it is advertised as being pet friendly and while there is a gated backyard, the grass in the front and back yard had thousands of Painful spiky sand spurs everywhere. The poor dogs were limping and crying because they were all stuck in their paw pads. Literally if we walked in the grass we’d have them all over the bottom of our shoes so you absolutely could not go barefoot in the front or back yard, and they were difficult to get out of our shoes and especially the poor dogs pads. Needless to say we did not let the dogs in the grass once we realized how bad it was. Also the pet fee is confusing, the listing states a 50 fee in one place and a 75 fee in another, so before I reserved I did message stating my confusion as to the total price for us & our 3 dogs, of which they did not answer so I assumed the charges were for everything. But nope, after our stay they informed me they were adding an additional 150 fee for the other 2 dogs. I don’t think that should be allowed, you should be aware of the total charges before committing to the reservation. Also what exactly is the pet fee for if the poor dogs can’t even use the yard? They actually thanked us for leaving everything so clean, so our dogs did not mess anything up. Also, we wanted to grill fresh fish but the grill was filthy so we just used the oven.

Great house layout - beautiful new appliances quiet area and so close to walk to many spots on or near the beach!! Thank you for the use of beach amenities as well!
